With the advent of new technology and powerful
computer aided-design software from Nobel Biocare, we can
now replace missing teeth with new, fixed teeth in one hour.
The state-of-the-art computer planning program from Nobel
Biocare ensures highly accurate placement of Nobel Biocare
jaw implants and fixing of new teeth in one single appointment
lasting about an hour. The treatment procedure is planned
completely on a CT scan of the patient’s jaw, taken
a few weeks previously.
The actual surgery is minimally invasive
by means of a guided keyhole procedure – in fact, no
stitches are necessary! This minimal surgery results in reduced
pain and swelling compared to conventional treatment. |

The Teeth-in-1-hour procedure entails very few appointments,
resulting in fewer interruptions in everyday life. You can immediately
return to work and/or social life right after the treatment.
How does it work?
With the Teeth-in-1-hour procedure, we can replace from one
tooth to a whole jaw. In cases where a denture is already worn,
this is assessed for fit, comfort and aesthetics. If the existing
denture is unsatisfactory, a new improved denture will have to
be constructed. A CT Scan of the jaws and denture is then obtained
and the whole procedure planned using computer aided design software.
Once all the necessary components are ready, the patient will
be booked in for the minor surgical intervention when the implants
will be inserted and the final restoration installed. This procedure
usually takes about an hour (for a whole jaw).
